ينبغي أن يُعلم أن المغفرة لمن أساء إليك ليست محمودة على الإطلاق؛ فإن الله تعالى قيَّد هذا بأن يكون العفو مقرونًا بالإصلاح فقال : ( فمن عفا وأصلح فأجره على الله) أما إذا لم يكن في العفو والمغفرة إصلاح فلا تعفُ ولا تغفر.
